Volunteer Teaching Monks at Wat Niwet School in Thailand.

Volunteer English Bangkok was founded in 2010 in close cooperation with Bansabai-hostel in Bangkok. Our intention was to offer visitors from abroad alternative experiences in addition to traditional holidays in Thailand. We wanted to give our guests a chance to meet local people and to get an impression of our country far away from the traditional holiday areas in Thailand.

Ayutthaya is a city in Thailand, about 80 kilometers north of Bangkok. It was capital of the Kingdom of Siam, and a prosperous international trading port, from 1350 until razed by the Burmese in 1767.
