You will spend your time here caring for our beautiful dogs in our shelters on the island. This means lots of pats, kisses, and one on one time with the dogs.
Volunteers will have an excellent opportunity to gain further experience in caring for dogs, learn about dogs' behaviour living in large packs and the pack hierarchy. In addition, this is a great opportunity to learn how to gain a dog's trust and create a bond you and your furry friends will remember for a lifetime.
We expect a willingness to work alone but also in a team, you should be enthusiastic and committed to the care of the dogs.

1 MONTH MINIMUM STAY NO ACCEPTIONS SORRY! - Any shorter amount is not beneficial to the dogs as they need time to get comfortable with new people and training and teaching new volunteers how everything works takes time so please don't message asking for a shorter stay. Don't worry the time goes by very fast and almost all volunteers end up loving the island and our dogs so much they extend again and again! :)
NO CHILDREN ALLOWED - AGE 25+ AND OVER ONLY - We value common sense and life experience. Once you have volunteered with us you will be a part of the doggie family for life. Many of our volunteers end up extending their stays and come back to volunteer a second or a third time.

- We offer our doggie helpers comfortable western accommodation with cooking facilities along with shared use of motorbikes.

We are located 5-hour bus ride from Bangkok.
Or 1-hour flight from Bangkok to the closest mainland city.
Bus or flight you will need to take a 30-minute ferry to the island - it goes every hour from 6 am-6 pm.
The volunteer house is just a 5-minute drive from the beach, waterfalls, rivers. Local markets, 7/11, and restaurants are 5 minutes away by scooter too!
