Learn and support the renovation of a half cave house in a traditional Spanish village.
The project involves renovating a half cave house in a Spanish village. The house is in need of total renovation with big building jobs alongside simple decoration tasks.
During the project you will chop wood for the log burning stove in the cosy living room, help with basic DIY and building tasks, take part in painting and decorating, support with cleaning and tidying alongside helping with some up cycling projects.
If you are practical and/or creative then this is an ideal project for yourself.
When not working on the project, you will be able to explore the local area with hiking and kayak opportunities. I own a kayak which you will be able to use with me on our local lake (Lake Negratín). The property also has a roof terrace which has the most gorgeous view and sunset.

You will provide help and support for five hours each weekday with weekends left free so you can explore the local areas.
Some of the help required is explained in the project description and more detail can be provided directly with interested parties.
You will have a private double bedroom for the duration of your stay which will include WiFi access.
Granada Airport, Almeria Airport, Malaga Airport and Alicante Airport are all within travelling distance of Baza.
The nearest main town is Baza which is easily accessed from all the nearby airports via bus or the use of BlaBlaCar. I will pick you up from Baza and drive you to the village of Freila.
