Volunteers needed at our dog rescue centre in North East Thailand. We are a sanctuary giving a home to over 550 rescued animals. Most of them are dogs but we also have many cats, a few pigs and ducks.

Around 60 of our dogs are paralyzed or blind. Some of them were rescued from the streets, dog meat trade or other horrific places. Our priority is to provide a good happy life to the ones that deserve it. Volunteers are essential to help us take care of our furry friends.

Main part of their work here at the foundation is socializing and walking with the dogs. We also welcome long term volunteers who can help us with building and general maintenance.

Mainly our volunteers help clean the runs or help out in the clinic in the morning. The afternoon we walk our priority dogs and get as many disabled dogs out as we can so they can have some fresh air and enjoy some time outside.

There is a schedule in place daily and there is always plenty to do. We have over 500 dogs so socialisation is very important to us. We also need help in other areas like general maintenance if your are a builder or handyman as our enclosures are getting old there’s always something that needs fixing. Social media experts also needed.

We are a private animal shelter located deep in the heart of Thailand, where dogs rescued from the illegal dog meat trade, abusive situations and accidents, as well as other animals have found a new, loving home. Many of these animals come to us so traumatized that they have lost all trust in mankind.

It may take years of intensive socialization before these dogs are ever ready to trust humans again.
