It's great to have you in my world! I am Mohamed and I come from Tagounite, a beautiful village surrounded by the most beautiful Saharan desert and mountains.
"Travel, be a passer-by, a migrant or a tourist, it's about undertaking a process, each time diverse, conscious and in all cases deeply subjective, of rediscovery between oneself, the community and the world."
This philosophy is at the heart of our intercultural desert home project, which seeks to put this link at the center on three levels, its richness and its priority in the design of the Moroccan Amazigh architecture, the use of the place and the community insertion of the project within an area of high ethnic, ecological, tourist and cultural diversity. In addition to offering a reception point for tourists and travelers, the desert house will seek to organize itself as a center for the expression and integration of cultural diversity and community exchange. The construction of the desert house is in line with ecological self-building and permaculture and favors the use of local materials and a low ecological impact.
A semi-collaborative architectural design: the plans of the hostel have been established in broad outline with a Patagonian architect from his knowledge of the place and by privileging the use of local and natural materials (adobe, straw, and earth). These plans can be enriched as the construction progresses by other contributions and suggestions from architects and volunteers according to their coherence with the general spirit and economic criteria of the initiative. The house has a capacity of 10 beds, 1 dormitory and 2 independent rooms, a dining room - a common kitchen, 1 bathroom, and a park of 1000 m2.
My background.
I'm Mohamed, a 20-year-old Moroccan who likes to travel and explore new places. I'm a positive, kind person who wants to live an adventurous, nature-filled life. I am motivated by learning new things every day, sharing deep conversations with people, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone after a few years of anxiety.
I have a big passion for animals, and have long been a volunteer at a cat shelter, and have fostered several dogs. I have a lot of respect for our beautiful planet earth, and all beings that we share it with.
It's easy for me to learn new things, and I enjoy immersing myself in new experiences. Hopefully, I will be able to accomplish what I am unable to do right now. It is not my habit to smoke, and I am not a big partygoer, though I do love to have fun! It is always my goal to make others comfortable and happy around me.
I work only online as a designer and photographer, and I would love to share my skills with you
Cheers.
