Help us take care of 120 animals of 15 different species and enjoy a great experience.
We take care of the animals all day. Never more than 5 hours of work. The work goes from (early) morning to night, although there is always room for your own activities. You will have your free time.
The work is exhausting some days but you'll have energy left over to read books or spend downtime. We continue to improve our organizational processes and the help changes with the needs of the animals.
The main tasks are animal care, including manure cleanup, cleaning of stables, paddocks and outside areas, gardening and lots of support tasks for our sanctuary manager. The animals feel safe and loved here, so you NEED to be an animal lover here. We will also have to work in the volunteer house keeping the common spaces clean and cooking when we have to do it.

What we can offer: Valuable experience in a vegan project, which is rare to find: We converted an old slaughterhouse into a sanctuary. That is pioneering work.
- You will get in touch with animals that you do not normally see and that will show you their character and individuality
- Delicious vegan food, lots of love and lots of karma points
- We have a gym inside the Sanctuary where you can play sports if you wish
If you are interested in Buddhism, you can contact Zen Buddhism.
If you're traveling alone and you're not completely vegan yet, but you're really motivated and willing to help us, it could work too. Just contact us and we'll talk about it. Remind you that the work is very physical and we need people in good shape as the work can be exhausting

The sanctuary was born with the idea of giving an opportunity to animals that have been exploited and reified. It is a space created to restore the dignity of non-human animals and coexist with them in a natural environment of freedom and respect, far from the 'productivity' and slavery to which they have been subjected all their lives.
Our goal is to create a space of awareness for people and restore the true natural environment of animal life.
